Have you been overindulging lately? Too much rich food? Too much alcohol? Feeling bloated, full, bowel movements off? Have we got the thing for you!
This version of the classic formula, Bao He Wan, does the trick. It clears out Food Stagnation from meat, dairy, alcohol or carbs. If we were allowed to say that it can also help with the adverse consequences of overindulging like high cholesterol, high blood pressure etc, we would. But those things are not in our scope of practise, so we can’t say that.
It evens calms a bit of Shen, to help us not eat emotionally and stay on the right track. It helps your patient keep their commitments to eating better quality food that fits their pattern. and to stick to normal portion sizes. Also, it clears some Heat to avoid those bad eating choices turning into constipation or Damp Heat in the intestines. Sounds pretty amazing!
Try it out. Works great to deal with the eating and drinking associated with whatever holidays your patient’s celebrate!
This is also a great formula to take with you travelling to take as a preventative to getting diarrhea or dysentery.
And as a bonus, I’m not going to say this tastes good, but it doesn’t taste quite as bad as some of the other ones.
Stagnation and Damp with some Heat in the Middle Jiao/Intestines and/or Food Stagnation
